We love Valle de Guadalupe all year long, but you might find that you have a favorite season to visit.
Winter | December - March
Low season, great hotel rates, few rain showers & beautiful green fields.
Spring | March - May
Blooming season, great weather and views of the Valle, the region starts to become more lively.
Summer | July to August
Harvest festivities & festivals, higher hotel rates, green vineyards & hotter climate.
Autumn | September to November
Milder weather & beautiful autumn colors in the vineyards
Which are the hottest months in Valle de Guadalupe?
July and August are the hottest months of the year and the most expensive due to the Harvest Season festivities and festivals. If you are looking to visit during these months on a budget you can always plan a same day trip to avoid higher hotel rates.
We recommend booking your accommodation at least 3 months in advance during this season.
Where do I have to fly to get to Valle de Guadalupe?
If you are traveling from Mexico, Tijuana is the closest airport. If you are traveling from the US, San Diego will be the closest airport.

Is there an Uber service to move around Valle de Guadalupe & from the Airport?

Can we walk around the Valle to get to hotels, restaurants and wineries?
Distances between vineyards, restaurants, and hotels are approximately 15 minutes driving.
Walking wouldn’t be an option.

For a full experience of Valle de Guadalupe we recommend at least two nights and three days.
What should I wear in Valle de Guadalupe?
Definitely a hat & comfortable shoes. During the autumn and winter months the night may get pretty chilly so we recommend bringing layers. Avoid high heels. Valle de Guadalupe is a very chic place and people tend to dress up.
Do we need reservations for wineries and restaurants or can we walk in?
We highly recommend reservations in advance, no walk - ins are allowed especially for larger groups.

There's a lot of dogs around the Valle, at every winery, restaurant, and hotel there's a guardian people-friendly dog. Keep in mind that dogs in Valle aren't on a leash
