Founded by travel and wine expert Karina Campos, at Wine, Eat and Travel, we specialize in private and one-of-a-kind excursions, private experiences and transportation services throughout the Baja Norte wine region in Mexico; including Tijuana, Valle de Guadalupe, and Ensenada.

Karina Campos -Founder

Meet the founder

Karina Campos, Mexicana, 34, is the mastermind behind this unparalleled travel company in the Baja Norte region in Mexico. It’s her background in tourism management and her passion for travel what inspired her to create Wine, Eat Travel. Karina has traveled to over six countries, not only for her own pleasure, but to do research to bring the best experiences and customer service to her clients. Karina has a keen eye for up and coming travel destinations – hence choosing Mexico’s most important wine regions. Karina currently lives in Valle de Guadalupe, with her adorable dog Petunia, where she spends most of her time designing food and wine travel experiences to continue to add unique travel options to her guests.

Karina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Ecotourism, Hospitality, and Gastronomy from Glion Institute in her hometown of Guadalajara, Jalisco and other certifications including:

2019 - Certificate for wine process, history and an introduction to sommelier by Centro cultural Santo Thomas, the oldest winery in the Baja California region. 

2020- WSET 1  (Wine and Spirits Educational Trust) certified by the Napa Valley Wine Academy  to improve my expertise in the field, creating unique upscale wine and food pairing experiences for all our clients.

Natal comunidad, in the entrance of the Valle de Guadalupe, the only forest in the middle of the desert and rocky mountains where you will find a hidden kitchen in the middle of hundreds of oak trees, surrounded by art installations made out of recycled materials.
